Hello friends,
We hope you are enjoying this fabulous summer! Project STORY is four weeks into our Summer Playgroup and we've already made some incredible memories. In June, our playgroup swelled to over 23 Project STORY kiddos proving to be our largest group ever! With the help of community members like you, we managed to provide food, tutoring, academic enrichment, and fun to all who joined us.
As we move into July, our numbers have reduced but we are still in need of your support with food and supplies. Your support is hugely appreciated and items can be delivered to the front porch at 49 Thorndike Street Concord NH!
FOOD & WATER
Visit our Sign Up Genius for a list of food items (per week) that will help us continue to provide free lunch and snacks to Project STORY kiddos.
We're looking for easy, grab-and-go, lower waste, healthy options like baby carrots, apples, oranges, bananas, granola bars, and fruit pouches. Drinking water is also a constant challenge, so large packs of water bottles and reusable bottles for the kids would be fantastic!
SWIM GEAR
Several of our kiddos don't have access to swim gear including:
Bathing suits (children's size 4/5 to youth size large)
Pool towels
Kids goggles
Whether new or gently used, anything you can contribute will be a great help!
PLEASE DELIVER ITEMS TO: 49 Thorndike Street Concord NH 03301
Don't have time to gather and deliver items? You can also support our playgroup by donating online here or through Venmo! @projectstorynh
Importantly, the increase in playgroup participation in June prompted us to explore how our community can better meet the needs of New American youth in June and August when school programs are not in session. As we move forward in the process, we are seeking your generous support to provide financial scholarships to enable Project STORY kids to attend established camp and summer programs during these critical months. (Donate online here.) If you have ideas about increasing access to summer programs for our youth please reach out! We'll be in touch with more information as we move through the process of connecting with Concord's youth organizations.

We'd like to extend a huge thank you to Kimball Jenkins for gifting 6 young artists a week of art camp! We deeply appreciate the continued support.💫
Lastly, we'd like to thank our entire community of supporters - you make a huge difference in the lives of these incredible, young people!
Gratefully,
The Project STORY Team
