*UPDATE: We have decided to reschedule our Concord Community Racism Awareness Event to Wednesday, May 8th, from 6-8 pm (5:30 doors) at the Bank of New Hampshire Stage. It is important for our friends, families, and neighbors celebrating Eid this week to be able to join us. Thank you for your understanding.
This community event is hosted by Project S.T.O.R.Y. in partnership with the Capitol Center for the Arts. It is an opportunity to address the critical issue of racism within our community. Our main objective is to create a space for learning, understanding, and collaboration, with the ultimate goal of recognizing racism and fostering a safe and welcoming community for all. We aim to bring awareness of racism, engage in discussions aimed at improving our understanding, and explore ways for collective action to prevent and address racism in our community.
Please mark your calendars for May 8th, tell your friends and neighbors, and join us in participating in this impactful event. Your presence and active engagement will play a role in our collective efforts to build a stronger and more inclusive community. By engaging in open and honest dialogue, we can light the way for positive change and make a shared commitment to create safe environments for everyone.
We sincerely appreciate your consideration and look forward to seeing you at the event!
